KTEA Information & Advertising Rates 805 924-0103 Statement: KTEA is a privately owned and operated six thousand watt commercial FM broadcast station. KTEA’s city of license is Cambria California. The aim of the station is to provide community involvement and “old fashioned” service in the cities of our prime signal coverage. We provide that coverage to the cities of San Simeon, Cambria, Morro Bay, Los Osos / Baywood Park. Secondary service is provided to the San Luis Obispo area and south to Santa Maria. Market: KTEA FM is an “Old Time Radio” format, station. KTEA operates from 6am until midnight seven days a week. We play a very broad spectrum of music of the 30’s 40’s and 50’s. Our listeners and market are primarily seniors 50+ living on the central coast of California. Advertising: 1. Sponsorship is available of half-hour segments of program during the day and evening hours. A sponsor receives an introduction at the beginning of the segment; the commercial message is placed in the middle portion of the program. A closing at the end of the half-hour is provided. The half hour is exclusive to the sponsor. The cost is $20.00 per sponsorship presented once or more a day. There is a four day minimum. 2. Commercial Spots are available during the day (6 AM to 6 PM). Each commercial message may be from thirty seconds to one minute in length. Cost is $10.00 per spot. Evening 6 PM to midnight is $8.00. Three or more spots during the day are $9.00 per spot. About 6 different spots are required to keep the spots fresh over the long term. Discounts are available for contracts of six months or more. 3. Old time radio Shows: KTEA has available a number of one half hour radio shows which may be sponsored. These shows include Fiber Magee and Molly, Boston Blackey, and others. These shows can be presented in the week-end evening hours. Cost for per show is $60.00 a week. 4. Client produced shows, containing approved content, may be aired for a cost of $60.00 per half hour, plus content checking of the show and editing where required. Editing cost is $30.00 per hour or part there of, per show, using our editing facilities. These editing charges are waved, if KTEA is allowed to sell commercial messages at the end or beginning of the show. Please contact Jim@ktea-fm.com or telephone 924-0103 for further information.
