1/4/2006, Wind storm caused severe damage to Cambria. Stayed on air on generator power. KTEA only way to communicate with residents.

Fire department gave instructions via KTEA on closed roads, power outage and time to repair.

CCSD and fire department gave out Ice and dry ice after days without power to residents to keep food from spoiling.
