Is anyone talking about anything else except the CCSD’s letter to raise
our rates to astronomical levels? You can stop in to The Tea Cozy if you
would like to sign an official letter of protest. I have them hanging in
the hallway, easy to reach and we’ll even turn them in for you. I guess
that gives away my thoughts on the matter. I keep thinking of this
beautiful town in one hundred years. Now I can easily do this because
the tea cozy is located in an old home that has already past the century
mark one time. But I digress. Do any of us really believe that in one
hundred years all of those lots will still be empty? I doubt it. It
seems to me that eventually, we will have another water source and then
what? Will we get a refund on the cost of the build out reduction
program with inflation taken into account, or will they just spend the
money again. I have a feeling hardly anybody knows what a balanced
budget is anymore. Enough. I love that scene in the Star Wars Episode
One when Queen Amidalla calls for a vote of no confidence. It starts a
whole chain of actions.

being around my friends and loved ones. By the way, have you ordered

Today I want
to remind you all about Toys for Tots. You can place a new,
unwrapped toy in many locations in town. If you can remember to do
this you will be putting a smile on the face of a local child on
Christmas day. So, don’t forget. If you happen to be out on
Hospitality Night it would be a perfect time to pick out a Toy and
drop it in a collection container. Now, as you may know I am an
extremely proud mother of two incredibly wonderful children and I
see no reason why I can’t share their accomplishments with you. So
the following is my children’s performance schedule for the holiday
season. Of course, all of these are remarkable fundraising events
and well worth attending even is my children were not participating
in them. My son Corbin is performing in the Coast Union chorus. I
am so pleased to announce that Kit Hansen will direct the Chorus at
the University Women of Cambria’s annual Holiday luncheon this

whatever else is exposed too. Just don’t expose anything he might
take an interest in. There will be hot cider for sure at some of
the local stores and maybe even hot chocolate too. For those of you

give to the merchants in our town and we really appreciate it. The
West and the East village have lots planned and the Otter trolley
will be rolling out a complimentary run between the two villages.
But you know what’s really great about this year? I think you’ll
actually be able to walk the distance in safety. The Main Street
lights are on. One of the special treats this year is a preview of
the Combined Choral Event. You’ll hear all about it as I welcome
Kit Hanson to the show……
